Our story
Body Moody was born from a personal need.
I was searching for a gentle way to ease menstrual pain — without reaching out for pills (like paracetamol, ibuprofen, and so on).
My own experience with recurring bladder infections led me to discover the power of heat. These infections came back during busy times when my body was weaker, especially caused by stress. In those moments, I realized the positive effect heat can provide — as a tool for calming, prevention, and relief.
At home, a hot water bottle or a heated blanket on my back did the job, but I couldn’t find a product practical, wearable, and discreet enough to carry outside of the home. So, I decided to design one myself and combine textiles and electronics to reach that.
My mom was a big support — sewing the first prototypes and encouraging me with words: “You’ve got this, you have this courage within you.” Her spirit will be forever with us.
Experts, family, friends, and future customers have all been part of the development. The energy, dedication, and belief in the product message and usefulness, all together, have brought Body Moody to the market.
Now, we are focusing on helping even more. We want to create more products with a primary focus on women’s health that fit seamlessly into everyday life. Our vision is to build a strong brand that balances right on the edge of healthcare and self-care.
We’re growing Body Moody from both Prague and Bergen, with our goals set on expanding internationally.

Design in healthcare, development, and production — this is her element. She’s passionate about raising awareness around women’s health and non-invasive solutions. Sharing her authentic entrepreneurial journey, she has a clear vision and the drive to go through the tough times — not only for Body Moody but for other health-focused companies as well.

She found her way to Body Moody during college and has supported the bodysuit and Katka through every phase of development ever since. Without her, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Every founder needs a right-hand person — someone who sees behind the scenes, celebrates the wins, and helps go through the tough times. She mainly handles marketing and communication.

Logistics & Assistant
Market has been part of the journey since she was sixteen — whether she liked it or not. As a younger sister, she was involved every step of the way — helping out, observing, and getting a firsthand overview of sketches spread across our kitchen table on weekends. Today, she’s a solid member of the team, making sure every package is carefully packed. Her main focus on top of that is studying at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Czech Technical University.

Emma joined Body Moody early on. Having been through several pelvic surgeries, heat became her way to ease pain, and she grew curious about its healing effects. She met Katka at the Faculty of Architecture at CTU Prague and testing the first prototypes. Today, she passionately sails around the world, and the bodysuit is her lifesaver during pain and cold. She’s one of our super proud ambassadors.

Kateřina helped organize things, especially in the early days of ideas and prototypes. She was there sorting the big picture and listened closely when Katka spoke about the brand’s vision, helping shape a clear communication tone. Now a proud ambassador, she creates content about life in Portugal and helps us create texts that UX flow effortlessly and while staying authentic.
