Use, care, and quality

How long does the bodysuit last?

We expect the bodysuit to last more than 5 years. It's been tested for for over 200 wash cycles with no loss in the heat-conducting ability of the fibers that transfer warmth from the batteries. The material keeps its color and actually gets even comfier over time—viscose doesn’t pill and gradually softens with wear and washing.

We offer a 2-year warranty on every bodysuit. But even after the warranty ends, we’re still here for you. If you have any questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll do our best to support you.

How long do batteries last?

Each battery lasts at least 400 charge cycles without a noticeable drop in capacity. In real life, if you use them for example around 10 hours a month, you can count on the duration period for 4–5 years. Once they’re done, you can easily purchase a replacement pair—no need to buy a new bodysuit. Batteries also come with a 2-year warranty.

How can I take care of the batteries to make them last the longest?

Before first use
- Charge the batteries (a.k.a. Inuheat PowerPack) to the maximum capacity before using them for the first time.

Ongoing care
- Use a 2–3 A charger for best results.
- Charge until the LED turns green.
- Clean the PowerPack with a cloth dampened in soapy water. Dry thoroughly and fully recharge before storing.
- Update the firmware regularly while using the product.
- Choose the lowest heat setting that keeps you comfortable long-term.

For longer storage
- Store the PowerPack in a dry place between 5–21 °C.
- Charge it fully before storage and don’t let batteries go below 50%.

Avoid the following
- Don’t use the PowerPack in extreme temperatures. The ideal range is 10–30 °C. In hot summer, use it in cooler spaces (like air-conditioned rooms).
- If your PowerPack is damaged, stop using it immediately.

What’s the best temperature setting?

First 5–10 minutes
Start by warming your body using the highest setting that still feels comfortable. Try the BOOST mode in the app for 5 minutes, or use level 10 for 5–10 minutes. Not using the app? Level 3 on the battery is the same as level 10 in the app.

Then...
Lower the heat to a lower setting that feels good long-term—something that keeps your belly or back cozy without making you sweat. It should feel like your skin is gently warming itself.

This way, you stay relaxed without overheating or sweating, you save battery life, and you can enjoy the heat for longer.

💡 Tip: Start with both the belly and back heating zones, even if you’re only in pain on one side. Once your core warms up and relaxes, you can switch to just the belly or back—whatever feels better for you—and keep your body in a relaxed state for hours.

Can I wash it? Really?

Yes! No worries—taking care of your bodysuit is easy. Just follow these simple steps:

Machine wash
- Use a delicate laundry gel
- Skip the fabric softener
- Always use the wash bag included in the package
- Wash at max. 30 °C on a short cycle with max. 600 rpm

Drying

⚠️ Do not tumble dry. Do not iron.

- Let it dry flat on a towel—think how you’d treat your favorite wool sweater.
- No ironing, simply hang it on a hanger to smooth out.

💡 Tip: Want to double-check you're doing everything right? Watch our video guide.

Can I get it wet, wear it in the rain, or use it while swim?

The bodysuit may look a bit like swimwear, but please—never swim in it while it's turned on. It contains electronics!

The good news is that everything except the batteries is machine-washable, so water exposure is totally fine. After washing, let it dry properly. If it’s still a little damp, no problem—you can use the heat function safely even then.

If it starts to rain, turn off the heating. The bodysuit and even the powered-off batteries are fine in the rain. Just wait until the connector is completely dry and the bodysuit is only slightly damp before turning the heat back on.

What about complaints and warranties?

We like to keep things simple—and generous. Because peace of mind matters.

🔧 Complaints – when something was wrong from the start

• According to the law, you have two years to file a complaint about any product.

• If a defect shows up within the first year, we assume it was already there at delivery—and it’s on us to fix it. In most cases, we’ll send a replacement part right away.

• After the first year, you can still file a complaint, but you’ll need to prove it was a hidden defect.

Warranty – our voluntary promise

• We guarantee your Body Moody product will work as it should—even if it seemed perfect at delivery.

• In some cases, we may send the product to Sweden for expert testing, but usually we resolve things quickly by sending a new piece.

⚠️ What the warranty and complaint process doesn’t cover

• Damage caused by improper use.

• For example, if we receive a torn bodysuit after 18 months and it’s clear it was stretched too hard because the size no longer fit—that’s not a manufacturing defect, but regular (and avoidable) wear and tear.

• In those cases, we can’t offer a replacement—but we’ll always help you find the best possible solution.

Health information

Can heat really help with menstrual cramps? Is it proven?

Heat is clinically proven as a non-invasive aid for menstrual pain in several clinical studies.

On our results page, you’ll find study results and expert insights—like from Dr. Martin Němec, MBA, chief physician at the hospital in Frýdek-Místek, who leads the accredited center for endometriosis and pelvic health.

Can I use the heated bodysuit during pregnancy?

Using our bodysuit or other heat sources (like heating pads) is safe during pregnancy. However, it’s important to follow some key guidelines to avoid overheating.

Guidelines:
Always use low heat settings — level 1 on the battery pack, or temperature 1–3 in the mobile app.

Use it for short periods (15–20 minutes), take breaks, and alternate warming your back or belly.

If anything feels uncomfortable, turn off the heat immediately.

For extra peace of mind, consult your gynecologist or healthcare provider before use.

💡 Tip: You can wear it also without heat. After giving birth, the supportive layer gently hugs your belly as it recovers—especially soothing if you're healing from a C-section.

Can I use the bodysuit if I have endometriosis?

Yes! Dr. Martin Němec recommends heat as a complementary treatment for his patients with endometriosis.

Is it safe to use flashlights close to the body?

Yes. The Inuheat PowerPack is safe to wear on the body – it meets CE standards, has protection against overheating and short circuits, is waterproof and designed specifically for heated clothing.

I noticed a heat-shaped line on my skin. What should I do?

No worries! You probably used high heat for a long time, and the pattern of the heating fibers temporarily imprinted on your skin.

What to do:
Take a break from heating.

Change into different clothes so your skin can breathe freely and the mark fades faster.

💡 Tip: We generally recommend using higher heat for about 5–10 minutes, then switching to lower settings that feel comfortably warm—like your own skin gently warming you.

Company, manufacturing, and future

How did the whole idea started?

Our founder, Kateřina Rydlová, struggled with repeting bladder infections and painful menstrual cramps. The pain got worse during her college years, especially after she stopped using hormonal birth control — and stress only made things worse.

Heat helped her: a hot water bottle pressed between her thighs or a warming blanket on her back. But she couldn’t bring those to school, and she didn’t want to rely solely on painkillers. So she decided to create a solution that works on the go — the bodysuit began as her master thesis project, and after graduation, she developed it all the way to market launch.

Where is Body Moody based?

We are a Czech company with operations near Náchod and Prague (Czech Republic), as well as Bergen (Norway).

Where is the bodysuit made?

Our bodysuit is made in a textile factory in Czech Republic. We care about where our products come from — so we choose local suppliers and materials whenever possible.

Where are the electronics made?

The electronics (batteries, charger, magnet inside the bodysuit) are made in Sweden by our technology partner, Inuheat.

Which countries do you ship to?

All across Europe, with focus on Czech Republic, Norway, Sweden and Germany.

What does the price of 10,000 CZK include?

The price reflects our commitment to uncompromising quality — in technology and comfort.

The biggest part of the cost is the electronics, especially high-quality batteries from a reliable Swedish supplier. You’ll find two batteries and a dual charger in the package, so you can charge both at once.

Inside the bodysuit, there are two special magnetic connectors and heating panels for wireless warming. We use premium materials and tested the bodysuit’s durability and performance for several months.

That’s why you can safely wash it more than 200 times. It will keep its shape, color, and warming function.

We expect your Body Moody bodysuit to last at least 5 years. After that, just replace the batteries and you’re good to go.

Do you plan to lower the price in the future?

The price of the heated bodysuit probably won’t drop — unless we change the electronics or start producing very large batches, which we don’t plan right now.

However, we’re working on a new product — a heated belt with a single warming layer which will be positioned with the slightly lower price, than the bodysuit.

We know our products aren’t the cheapest, but we stand behind their durability — investing in your health and daily comfort.

💡 Tip: You can use Klarna’s installment payment option (3 or 4 installments), which you can easily select during checkout.

Jak dlouho firma Body Moody funguje a jaké jsou plány do budoucna?

Body Moody s.r.o. was founded in 2021, but the idea of a heated bodysuit came much earlier. The first physical prototypes were created in 2018, and we launched the product in 2022.

We have big hearts and a strong desire to help. We move forward step-by-step, focusing on quality and purpose. In 2025, we plan to launch our second product Body Moody - belt and in the future, we’d love for Body Moody products to become certified as medical devices.
